About the churchwell group


Amanda Churchwell founded The Churchwell Group Contract to Close Service in 2012 to assist busy Realtors with transaction coordination and added the listing coordination division in 2014. With many years of experience as a Realtor herself, she knows the intricate details involved in a Real Estate transaction. Her experience includes not only selling real estate, but also broker compliance contract review, training new agents and assisting with brokerage office management. We at The Churchwell Group have seen first hand the positive impact our service has on our clients’ businesses. When Realtors leverage their time by utilizing our detailed transaction management process, we see immediate growth in their sales. It’s truly thrilling and one of the best rewards to being in business.

Meet Karen Patterson

Married for 41 years, I have a son and a daughter, both business owners, and 5 beautiful granddaughters. From dance to gymnastics to plays, they keep us entertained and we love every minute of it. In my ‘spare’ time I enjoy photographing these beauties as well as other family members, and also gorgeous landscapes and sunsets along with scrapbooking our events. Our annual family vacation at the beach is the highlight of our year.

Working for most of these 41 years, first in the field of accounting and then with eight years in real estate office management, I have excellent computer skills with the ability to navigate websites and software and to learn new programs and sites with ease. I have exceptional organization, time management, and communication skills, which are crucial in business. My goal is to help you as a realtor sell more real estate by getting your binding contract to the closing table on time.

Meet Payton Churchwell

I grew up in Macon, Ga before attending Auburn University and receiving my B.S. in Business Management. I married my high-school sweetheart and worked in the property and casualty insurance field before staying home to raise my three precious children. When I’m not running carpool, I enjoy cooking and reading but my favorite pastime is putting my feet in the sand on Tybee Island.

I love being a closing coordinator. Making sure that everything is taken care of so that you can close on time and spend more time in the field doing what you do best is my daily goal. Staying on top of deadlines with organization and good communication is the best way I have found to meet this goal.

Meet Lydia Waters

My name is Lydia Waters and I have 2 beautiful, crazy, and funny kids with my husband, Brett. We enjoy UGA football and going to our son’s t-ball and soccer games. Family is very important to me and I decided when I had my second child that I would stay home with them instead of returning to my position as a teacher. I taught in very high risk schools for 5 years before deciding to stay home. My ability to multi-task, stay organized and my desire to always improve really help me to be successful in my work. I love helping people, working with people, and I also like working behind the scenes so being a closing coordinator is perfect for me.

Meet Beth Neal

As Closing Coordinator, Beth helps our clients from the time a listing is under contract to closing day. Her organizational skills and attention to detail help keep the closing process easy for all parties involved. Prior to joining The Churchwell Group in 2014, Beth was a Pharmaceutical Vaccine Specialist with Merck & Co. Inc.

Beth is an active member at Dunwoody United Methodist Church where she helps co-chair Moms On The Grow circle and sits on the Consignment Sale committee. Married for six years to her husband, Ryan, they have two children, Harrison and Harper.
